TOZI Restaurant & Bar Wine Club
TOZI Restaurant & Bar is launching a Wine Club – a monthly complimentary event for all wine lovers starting on Monday 23rd September 2013.
Celebrating the restaurant’s all-Italian wine list, TOZI is inviting its independent suppliers to present their collections and guide customers through food pairing recommendations and the characteristics of different Italian wines. ‘Wine Club’ kicks off with an ‘Italian Bubbles’ theme, exploring the sparkling wines of Franciacorta from Brescia, a commune of Lombardy and Prosecco from the Veneto region. Ensuing sessions will focus on a different region of Italy every month.
‘Italian Bubbles’ will be presented by supplier Passione Vino, and invites diners to come and learn more about Italian sparkling wines and meet fellow wine enthusiasts. The selection on the night will include two kinds of Prosecco from the Malibràn winery and a selection of Franciacorta bubbles from La Montina winery.
Wine Club starts at 6 p.m. and lasts one hour, with diners encouraged to stay on and enjoy dinner following the tasting. Places are limited to 18 people on a first-come first-served pre-booking basis.
TOZI Restaurant & Bar opened in May 2013 and specialises in Venetian-inspired cicchetti (small-plates) designed for sharing. The cocktail bar features Prosecco on tap, barrel-aged Negroni and a selection of contemporary Italian cocktails as well as the signature TOZI Spritz.
TOZI is located at 8 Gillingham Street, just a few minutes’ walk from Victoria station. Cicchetti are priced from £3.50 and Prosecco by the glass is priced from £4.
